[ALERT] CMS PECOS R7.53.2 Production Deployment - Application Availability, 04/26/2025

This message is for users of the PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production environment.

Please be advised that the CMS PECOS PI and AI applications in the Production (PROD) environment will not be available from 09:00 AM EDT to 12:00 PM EDT on Saturday, 04/26/2025 due to the R7.53.2 code deployment.

The following defects and enhancements are included in this release:

Transitioned PECOS from Client SDK to REST API HTTP for the Global Geocoding Module on Spectrum 2022.
Fixed an issue where the system did not restrict adding duplicate records for Physical Location and Special Payment Address in 855A for both PI and AI.
Fixed an issue where a system error occurred when attempting to view the MER for withdrawal applications in PI.
Fixed an issue where the MER PDF did not display the End Date field for end-dated Physical Location records in PI and AI-EDR pages for 855A Hospital providers.
Fixed an issue where UAM_FLAG_CD was NULL and incorrect geocodes were present in the database when a user deleted the Correspondence Address and added a new address in the COI flow for PI 855O.
Fixed an issue where sensitive documents were still accessible in Fast Track View/Topic View during 855A/B web Deactivation/Revalidation/CHOW workflows in PI.
Fixed an issue with printing the MER for enrollments with more than fifty Practice Locations in PI.
Fixed an issue in AI where the system gave a wrong validation message when editing the "Individual is an Owner, Partner or Trustee of any ADP of the SNF" role and adding new sub roles for 855A SNF enrollments.
Fixed a typo in the Signature and Declaration statements for 855S enrollments in AI.
Fixed an issue where the 1099 Revalidation Address in Recon could not be unlocked in 855S in AI.
Fixed an issue preventing the addition of an organization with 5% or Greater Direct Ownership of any ADR of the SNF with the same organization name for 855A SNF enrollments in AI.
Fixed an issue where an error "Physical Location Address information already exists" was given when a user changed the Practice Location Name in Section 4: Edit Physical Location for 855B enrollments in AI.
