A Message from Ms. Laxton,  Principal

Parents,

As we move further into the spring, our focus is also turning towards the Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) testing. Over the next few weeks, we will be gearing up to ensure our students are well-prepared to demonstrate their learning.

Please take note of the following important testing dates:

• Reading (All Grades): Tuesday, May 13th
• Science (Grade 5 Only): Thursday, May 15th
• Math (All Grades): Tuesday, May 20th

We encourage you to support your child by ensuring they get adequate rest the night before each test and arrive at school on time. Our teachers are working diligently in the classroom to review key concepts and strategies.

More information regarding specific testing procedures and schedules will be shared with students in the coming days. Please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school administration if you have any questions.
