April 25- News and Notes!

Rolling Valley Families,

We had a full and exciting week at RVES! Thank you to the families who joined us for our AAP Orientation, we appreciated your thoughtful questions and engagement. If you have any follow-up questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thursday’s International Night was a huge success! It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate and share their cultures. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, hosted a room, performed, or brought a delicious dish to share!

Our students also enjoyed some fantastic learning experiences outside the classroom. Kindergarten had a great time exploring Frying Pan Park, while our 4th graders had the opportunity to visit the Kennedy Center.

It’s been a busy and fun filled week, and we’re already looking forward to all that next week brings!

Congratulations Mr. Painter!

We’re thrilled to share some joyful news from our RVES community! A huge congratulations to Eric and his wife, Lisa, who welcomed their beautiful daughter, Charlotte Marie Painter, into the world on Saturday, April 12. 

Charlotte made her debut surrounded by love, and we are so excited for the entire Painter family as they begin this new chapter together. Both mom and baby are doing well, and we know Eric is already embracing his new role as a proud dad!

Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…

There’s an easy five-step process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:

1. Determine eligibility. 
2. Identify your local school. 
3. Gather documents. 
4. Fill out forms. 
5. Schedule an appointment.

After the appointment at the school (the student and one guardian must be present), the student will be ready for Kindergarten Orientation on April 1 from 3-4pm here at RVES.
