I was checking my LinkedIn analytics this morning, and I couldn’t believe what I saw. LinkedIn has been a game changer for me. Today, I’ll share why I believe it’s currently the most valuable social platform. LFG. 🔥 I Reached More Than 2 Million People This WeekI’ve had to retrain my brain to focus on reach instead of followers. Social algorithms have changed. Your content doesn’t necessarily get more views just because you have more followers. Instead, the posts that drive engagement tend to get even more reach. It’s the TikTok effect. I’ve been intentional about creating content that sparks conversation. When people engage with my posts, it triggers the algorithm to show that content to more people, creating a flywheel of engagement and growth. This shift in mindset has paid off in two big ways: More Newsletter SubscribersMy newsletter is growing quickly. My goal is to reach 50,000 subscribers on Substack by the end of the year. This growth is a direct result of increased impressions, which lead to more profile views. When people see my content, some of them click on my profile to learn more. From there, some click the link in my profile, which leads to my newsletter. In my opinion, this is the most valuable outcome because my newsletter is my most important asset. It drives the majority of my opportunities, including investment deals. I’ve been writing a lot lately about my sales strategies, my agency, and Agency Clarity, but my personal holdings company remains my main long-term focus. Everything I build ultimately leads back to my portfolio. More Conversations and Stronger ReputationI’ve always used LinkedIn as an outbound sales tool. In the past, I had to be more selective, focusing on healthcare professionals to grow Stodzy. Now, with The Launchpad, I’m having a lot more conversations with a much wider range of people. What I’ve noticed is how much more receptive people are to hearing about my products now that I have a larger following. This “reputation” factor makes conversations easier because people take me seriously and are more open to listening to what I have to say. I never fully appreciated how powerful the “influencer” effect could be, but it’s real. LinkedIn Has Been GreatI’m genuinely grateful that I leaned into this. For years, I arrogantly dismissed social media as a space for people seeking attention, but I’ve come to appreciate it as a serious business asset. I wish I had started sooner. Love you guys.
