Arlington Welcomes WorldPride DC 2025 Visitors with Open Arms, Inclusive Experiences and a Strong Sense of Community

Arlington, Va. – As Washington, D.C., prepares to host WorldPride 2025 from May 17 to June 8, neighboring Arlington, Virginia, is shining a spotlight on its array of inclusive experiences, events and resources for both travelers and locals across the capital region.

Long recognized in the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index for its inclusive laws and policies, Arlington has much to showcase as a destination that genuinely celebrates equality and embraces travelers from around the globe.

“Arlington is thrilled to welcome visitors from near and far to celebrate WorldPride 2025," said Arlington County Board Chair Takis Karantonis. 'All in Arlington' is more than a brand slogan; it’s a committment. We are excited for guests to experience the warmth of our community — a place that truly values, supports and uplifts people of all identities."

WorldPride visitors will notice the widespread embrace of the “All in Arlington” Pride logo, which will be prominently displayed throughout Arlington’s neighborhoods, hotels, restaurants, stores and community organizations. This visual symbol recognizes the unity in love, strength and pride that is at the heart of the Arlington community — both before and beyond this year’s WorldPride festivities.

Known for its inviting atmosphere, Arlington is a melting pot of cultures, backgrounds and identities that provides a diverse and inclusive environment for visitors. From vibrant neighborhoods to cultural landmarks, Arlington offers a plethora of experiences:

• Inclusive Businesses: Look for the "All in Arlington" Pride window cling at LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses in Arlington, including those listed here.
• Events: More than 30 local events, such as the fourth annual “Arlington Pride at World Pride” and an array of celebrations, arts activations and educational opportunities, offer visitors inspiration to curate the perfect itinerary. • Restaurants: Travelers are invited to dine at international eateries throughout Arlington’s neighborhoods, including the Columbia Pike neighborhood that showcases cuisines from nearly 50 different cultures.
• Attractions: Experiences at the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MoCA), Signature Theatre, The Black Heritage Museum of Arlington, Arlington’s public art collection, and national memorials are a great complement to Pride celebrations.
• Outdoor Adventures: The Mount Vernon Trail and Potomac Overlook Regional Park are just two beloved outdoor spaces that showcase Arlington’s scenic beauty, offering a natural escape for visitors during downtime.
