Kia has launched the PV5 WAV, a wheelchair-accessible version of its electric van, featuring a 300-kilogram-capacity side-entry system, an entry ramp and a wheelchair belt fastener. Kia collaborated with Motability Operations to enhance transportation options for people with disabilities.

Apple has released tvOS 18.5, primarily a bug-fix update for Apple TV 4K, but it also includes a notable improvement for Dolby Atmos. The company is rolling out support for synchronizing Dolby Atmos playback with speakers via AirPlay or Bluetooth using the Wireless Audio Sync feature, which previously did not support Dolby Atmos.

Mercedes-AMG teases 1,000-hp EV

Mercedes-AMG is developing an electric sedan that aims to rival the Porsche Taycan and Audi RS e-tron GT. The vehicle, similar in design to the 2022 Vision AMG Concept, will feature advanced LED lighting and an active rear wing. It will use the AMG.EA architecture with a battery from Sila Nanotechnologies and motors from Yasa, and it is expected to deliver four-digit horsepower.

Apple is the world's most valuable brand for the fourth year in a row, per Kantar's BrandZ report, with Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Nvidia rounding out the top five. The report highlights the rise of AI, with ChatGPT as a new entrant, and the significant growth of disruptor brands, which make up 71% of the total value in the top 100. "Marketing matters more than ever," said Martin Guerrieria, global head of BrandZ at Kantar, adding that brand equity makes up one-third of a brand's value.
