All students at Willow Springs go to weekly Spanish FLES lessons to learn the Spanish language. Learning to write in Spanish is an important part of the lessons at all grade levels.

We are now in the final stretch of the school year with just 3 full weeks and 3 days left in this year. There is still a lot of learning and fun to be had so we encourage strong attendance.

3 Hour Early Dismissal
Monday is the final 3-hour early dismissal day. Students will be dismissed at 1:00 PM.
Spring 2025 SOL Testing
For the past few weeks, our 3rd--6th grade students have been busy taking the SOL standardized tests. Today was the last big day of testing.
On Thursday of next week, students who qualify for a reading retake will take their test. On the following Thursday the 29th, students eligible for a math retake will take their test. On Friday the 30th, 5th graders eligible for a science retake will take the science test.
 Food Drive for WFCM
It is time for the annual 6th grade food drive. Our 6th grade classes have once again partnered with the SCA to spread the word about the need for shelves to be restocked.
Red Robin Fundraiser
On Monday, enjoy lunch or dinner from Red Robin at Fair Lakes and earn 20% for Willow Springs on May 19th. Show the flier or mention the fundraiser when you order.
Library Books Due
All library books are due back by Wednesday, May 28th.

Registration is now open for Elementary Institute for the Arts to be held this summer at Lake Braddock SS.
 Techstravaganza
All are invited to this annual STEM activity fair which will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 10 AM to 4 PM at TJHSST.
 Kindergarten Registration
If you have a child who is eligible to start Kindergarten in the fall, please register them now.
