Cassie returns to the witness stand amid concerns about her pregnancy

R&B singer Cassie delved into text messages with her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs as she resumed testifying in his sex trafficking trial Friday, saying she told him “I’m not a rag doll. I’m somebody’s child” after he beat her at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

Cassie was back on the witness stand for a second day of cross-examination by Combs’ lawyers, after having been forced the day before to read aloud explicit and lurid messages she sent Combs during their tumultuous, nearly 11-year relationship that ended in 2018.

Bruce Springsteen opens U.K. tour by calling Trump ‘unfit' for office

Bruce Springsteen delivered stinging criticism of the Trump administration at the opening show of his British tour, accusing its officials of authoritarianism, rolling back civil rights and illegal deportations.

Springsteen, 75, a prominent liberal who has long supported Democratic presidential candidates including former Vice President Kamala Harris, made the remarks at a concert in Manchester, England, on Wednesday that was the first in his “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour.

“The mighty E Street Band is here tonight to call upon the righteous power of art, of music, of  rock ’n’ roll in dangerous times,” he said to roars from the crowd.

Singer Chris Brown charged in UK for alleged attack at London club in 2023

Grammy-winning singer Chris Brown was charged Thursday in England for allegedly beating a music producer in a London nightclub in 2023, prosecutors said.

Brown, 36, was charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm after being arrested at a Manchester hotel.

The Sun, which first reported the story, said producer Abe Diaw told them he was hospitalized after Brown beat him in an unprovoked attack at the Tape nightclub in the swanky Mayfair neighborhood in London in February 2023. Brown was on tour in the U.K. at the time.

Smokey Robinson is under criminal investigation after housekeepers accuse him of sexual assault

Iconic soul singer Smokey Robinson, who was accused of sexually assaulting four former housekeepers for years in a lawsuit filed earlier this month, is under criminal investigation, a law enforcement official said Thursday.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said the investigation is in its early stages and declined further comment.

Lawyers for the plaintiffs said the investigation, first reported by TMZ, is linked to the lawsuit.

Tiffany Trump welcomes her first child, a baby boy

Tiffany Trump gave birth to a baby boy on May 15, announcing her happy news via Instagram.

“Welcome to the world our sweet baby boy, Alexander Trump Boulos. We love you beyond words! Thank you for coming into our lives! 5.15.2025,” she wrote in the post.

Alexander is the first child for Tiffany — who is President Donald Trump‘s fourth child — and her husband, Michael Boulos. He’s also the 11th grandchild for Donald Trump.
