The Supreme Court cast a blow against the Trump administration's attempt to send alleged Venezuelan gang members to a prison in El Salvador, ruling they must have a chance to raise legal objections.

The justices in a 7-2 decision faulted the administration for only giving the detainees 24 hours to launch legal challenges.
