Good evening. Right-wing Republicans have blocked the “big beautiful bill” meant to deliver President Trump’s agenda, saying it doesn’t cut enough spending. A major study shows that Medicaid, which could be cut if the package advances, has saved tens of thousands of lives. And the Department of Homeland Security is considering a reality TV show involving immigrants competing for citizenship.
