June 11: Early Release

The last day of school, June 11, is a 2-hour early release. Students will be dismissed starting at 1:55 pm. Thank you!


Lost & Found: By June 13

Lost and Found will be placed outside the last week of school. Items not picked up by June 13th will be donated.


Yearbooks will be distributed in the Classrooms on Tuesday, June 10

If your student ordered a yearbook, it will be delivered to your student's classroom on Tuesday, June 10.


Summer Popsicles on the Playground

Popsicles on the Playground over the summer: The PTA will supply popsicles and be there to welcome new families. The principals will also be there for the first 30 minutes for everyone to say hi.

  • Kindergarten: Tuesday August 5, 9–10 a.m. AND 7–8 p.m. (pick which works best for you!)

  • 1st/2nd: Monday August 4, 7–8 p.m.

  • 3rd/4th: Wednesday August 6, 7–8 p.m.

  • 5th/6th: Thursday August 7, 7–8 p.m.

  • Rain Date Kindergarten only: Friday August 8, 5–6 p.m.

Parent Input for the 2025-2026 School Year

As we are beginning to make plans for the 2025–2026 school year, parents of rising Kinder – 6th Graders are welcome to email Ms. Jankovich at ALJankovich@fcps.edu to share any information you feel is important for class placement considerations for next year. Sharing information about your child is OPTIONAL. Please know, many factors are at play when forming classes for a new school year, therefore specific teacher requests and/or requests to place your child (or not place your child) with certain students cannot always be honored – there are no guarantees.

Very Important: Please write “Placement Information for (insert child’s first and last name) 2025 – 2026” in the subject line if you choose to send an email. Please send all communication by June 27, 2025. Thank you!
