Support Carson After School Activities!
Below is a link for a quick survey about the Middle School After-School Program. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The survey is an important component of the after-school program evaluation and is critical for future funding. The more responses we receive, the more valuable and reliable the data. The responses not only allow us to assess the impact of the after-school program but they help drive program improvement and program quality.
Thank you for completing the survey and for your support of the MS after-school program.

Interested in Scouting?
Scouting America Troop 158 - B invites you to attend a scout meeting with campfire and s’mores to see if scouting might be for you.
Please join us on Wednesday, June 11, from 7PM to 8:20PM at The Community of Faith United Methodist Church
13224 Franklin Farm Road
Scouting provides fantastic opportunities to make friends and have fun for youth aged 11 to 18 years.
Some common Troop 158 activities include:
-Camping
-Rock climbing
-Caving
-Kayaking
-Hiking
-White water rafting
-Cycling
-Klondike (sled building and racing)
-Holiday caroling
-Service projects (road-side and trail clean up, Eagle Scout projects, scouting for food and more)
-Skiing
-High Adventure camps across the country (for example, scuba diving in the Florida Keys or Backpacking in the New Mexico mountains)
While having fun with friends, scouts also learn to plan, collaborate, lead, serve the community, and mentor. They build confidence in public speaking and interviewing with adults. Scouts also complete merit badges, gaining knowledge and experience in various hobbies, life skills and potential career interests. Examples include: First Aide, Swimming, Citizenship, Personal Finance, Sustainability, Emergency Preparedness, Architecture, Astronomy, and Engineering, just to name a few.)
