A book of Beatles-era photographs taken by George Harrison, many of them never published, will be released next year.

Random House announced Thursday that “The Third Eye,” which includes more than 250 black and white and color images, is scheduled for Fall 2026. Harrison’s widow, Olivia Harrison, compiled and curated the book, which covers the years 1963-69 and includes photos of the Beatles everywhere from their native Liverpool to India to Shea Stadium.

“I want to show people, from George’s unique photographic perspective during the Beatles’ early years, the moments when the whole of your life is ahead of you with unknowable possibilities,” Olivia Harrison said of her late husband, who died in 2001, in a statement released by Random House.

A new study commissioned by McCain Foods and conducted by Talker Research reveals the average American eats at least 17 pounds of fries each year — totaling more than 5.6 billion pounds nationwide. Virginia tops the list, with the average person consuming 21 pounds annually, followed closely by Alabama, Georgia, and Maryland.

Sketched out on an air sickness bag, the first Birkin handbag — the prototype for fashion’s must-have accessory — sold for a record 7 million euros (about $8.2 million) at auction in Paris on Thursday. With Sotheby’s fees included, the total price for the winning bidder from Japan was a cool 8.6 million euros ($10.1 million), the auction house said.

Former “Love Island USA” contestant Cierra Ortega apologized Wednesday for resurfaced posts where she used a racial slur against Asian people.

Ortega, who was half of one of the season’s strongest couples, left the villa just a week before the popular reality show’s finale after old posts resurfaced that contained the slur.

Ortega addressed the entire Asian community in her nearly five-minute TikTok video and said she is “deeply, truly, honestly so sorry.”

After a nearly 10-year hiatus, the beloved McDonald’s Snack Wrap is back on menus, but they’re not quite the same as before.

The fan-favorite McDonald’s menu item officially returned to restaurants Thursday. The burger chain said the iconic wraps will remain on menus “as long as” fans continue to enjoy it.

“Fans never gave up on the Snack Wrap, inspiring the ultimate comeback,” McDonald’s said.
