Selena Gomez Told Us About Making Her First Perfume for Rare Beauty |
|
She talks fragrance personalization, wearing the scent to work and how Benny loves it (and smells really good) |
By Jennifer Berry

The last time Selena Gomez created a fragrance, she was barely out of her teens. With a bottle cap covered in 3D lips, Vivamore was a fruity-floral-gourmand scent with notes of melon and spun sugar that perfectly encapsulated the then-20-year-old superstar singer and child actor emerging from her Disney cocoon onto the world stage with her first studio album and major concert tour.
Much has changed for the now 33-year-old, happily engaged, SAG Award-winning and Emmy-nominated star of the hit TV series Only Murders in the Building and founder of a billion-dollar beauty company, Rare Beauty—including her taste in fragrance.
