Our annual list showcases 500 colleges that produce successful, high-earning and influential graduates

Forbes
Despite President Donald Trump waging financial and cultural war on higher education, many American colleges are still able to deliver gold-standard undergraduate education

Topping
Forbes’ list of America’s Top Colleges this year is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where graduates earn a median salary of $110,200 just three years after commencement and nearly all students (99.8%) return to MIT after their freshman year.

The ranking of these 500 schools is based exclusively on outcomes for undergraduates, but it’s worth noting that
American graduate education is primed for a huge shakeup as Congress caps how much graduate students can borrow, and the Trump Administration curbs research spending and student visas.

As always,
Forbes has looked beyond the Ivy League to identify the best schools. So whether you’re looking for a bustling public university, a smaller campus lifestyle or just want to focus on the best return on investment, we’ve got you covered. If you know someone currently applying or weighing their options, consider forwarding this email to them.
