Rosslyn Jazz Fest

Get ready for an afternoon of food, games, and of course, a lot of good music. The 33rd Rosslyn Jazz Fest kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Arlington County wishes everyone a Happy Labor Day! County Government offices & services are operating on modified schedules on Monday, Sep. 1, 2025.

As you celebrate with family and friends at barbecues, pool parties and other gatherings, the Arlington County Police Department is reminding community members to be responsible -- Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.

Construction Underway

Work began this week on the Arlington Ridge Road Bridge Reconstruction project. If you have 90 seconds, watch the short video below explaining the project that is expected to be completed in the summer of 2027.

• The Arlington Addiction Recover Initiative is holding a candlelight vigil on Aug. 28 in recognition of International Overdose Awareness Day.
  
  
• This week, the County resumed enforcement of School Zone Speed Safety Cameras as Arlington Public School students returned to class.
  
  
• Last chance to apply for Arlington's E-Bike Voucher Program. The deadline is Aug. 28.
  
  
• Say goodbye to summer. Arlington's spraygrounds will close for the season on Sept. 1.
  
  
• Attention, art lovers. The Arlington Art Truck will be out on the town at several events in the weeks ahead. Stop by for Patch or Swap on Sept. 6.
