Charges in TSMC case: Taiwanese prosecutors charged three people for allegedly stealing trade secrets from TSMC, the latest in an investigation that underscores the sensitive nature of chipmaking technology.

Weaponized AI: A hacker used Anthropic’s artificial intelligence coding tool in a data theft and extortion operation that has affected at least 17 organizations. The victims have spanned government, health care, emergency services and religious institutions.
