Canned tomato products are very recyclable and should always be placed in the recycling bin. Make sure to rinse out any excess liquids or food residue and let it dry before placing in the bin.

JARRED TOMATO SAUCE

Glass bottles are not accepted in curbside recycling collection. All glass bottles should be taken to one of the Purple Can Club glass-only drop-off containers located throughout the region, or placed in the trash. All labels and lids can be left on the glass bottles when dropped off at the Purple Can Club containers. For more information, visit www.fairfaxva.gov/purplecan.
