You hear it a lot from NFL rookies — if they could go back to college, armed with the football education they got in the pros, they would be a whole different, and much better, player. If logic follows, the same should be true for NFL players heading into their sophomore year. The knowledge, experience, and trials of a rookie season should be a springboard to improved play.
To the kind of leap Drake Maye expects to make this season. The kind the Patriots hope their former No. 3 overall pick has in him.
