HUD asks Chicago Housing Authority to delay Walter Burnett CEO hire until review of potential conflicts of interest

U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development officials asked the Chicago Housing Authority Thursday to postpone moving forward with an appointment of former Ald. Walter Burnett as CEO because of a need to review potential conflicts of interest, a HUD official who was not authorized to speak on the record told the Tribune.
