Constitution Day Made Easy: Explore Fun Facts and More
 Each Constitution Day gives us a chance to learn about and understand the importance of what our Founding Fathers envisioned for our country, one of those things being an accurate count of our nation’s people—the decennial census.
Check out our Constitution Day and Apportionment page for free, quick, engaging resources that highlight interesting facts like the number of states with six or more U.S. Representatives based on population counts from the last census, or the number of U.S. counties with names matching those of the founders of the Constitution who also served as U.S. presidents.
Our partner, the United States Capitol Historical Society, hosts SIS civic resources on their We the People Hub, a digital collection of educational resources, lesson plans, and interactive activities. The resources are designed to enhance teachers’ ability to delivery engaging and informative lessons on American history and government.
