 Join Capitol Visitor Center Educators on Friday, October 10, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for a virtual professional development workshop for secondary school teachers.
Teachers will:
- Develop specialized content knowledge related to the history of the U.S. Capitol and Congress.
- Gain skills in implementing visual thinking and inquiry-based learning strategies through modeled examples applied to Capitol art, architecture, and history and how those examples define and reflect American democracy.
- Learn about Capitol Visitor Center educational resources and opportunities.
