Microsoft is preparing to launch a free, ad-supported version of Xbox Cloud Gaming that allows users to stream select games without a Game Pass subscription, The Verge says. The service, currently being tested internally, includes two minutes of pre-roll ads and limits sessions to one hour, up to five hours a month, sources say.

Scientist Ekaterina Muravevskaia developed a virtual reality-based empathy game that uses AI to allow it to adapt to individual children's emotional states. AI systems can adjust the game in real time -- offering supportive prompts, scaling emotional intensity or introducing more complex scenarios as needed -- and allows children to practice empathy in a controlled environment.

United Airlines is the first airline to support the updated boarding pass features in Apple Wallet, which include real-time flight updates, airport maps and the ability to share flight information with friends and family.
