Parent volunteers recently helped our art teachers by putting student work on display in the halls.
Thanks to our volunteers, beautiful student artwork is now on display in the halls.

Parent volunteers recently helped by putting student artwork on display in our halls. Students enjoy seeing their work in the halls and often stop to admire the work of their friends and classmates.

A big THANK YOU to all of our volunteers!

Walk and Roll to School Day

FCPS and Willow Springs will participate in International Walk and Roll to School Day on Wednesday, October 8, in an effort to promote physical activity and reduce traffic congestion and pollution near schools.

Students and employees are encouraged to bike or walk to school and work where safe to do so. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children to school, and to work with their school and PTA or PTO to assemble bike trains or walking groups for the event.

Virginia Farm to School Week is October 6-10, and FCPS Food and Nutrition Services is excited to celebrate with our school!

During the week, the Crunch Heard ’Round the Commonwealth will take place on Thursday, October 9. On that day, Virginians across the Commonwealth will make noise for Virginia farm to school programs by biting into a fresh, Virginia-grown apple.

Our school will receive delicious Virginia-grown apples (Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or Fuji) for students to enjoy on October 9.
