We are so grateful to the many families who came out on Saturday to help in the Terra Centre garden — your time and effort made such a difference!
Terra Centre Families,
We had an amazing Field Day last week! A huge thank you to all the volunteers who supported our students throughout the day, and a special shout-out to Mr. Totten for organizing such a fun and memorable event!
We’re also looking forward to celebrating PTA National Walk & Roll to School Day this Wednesday, October 8. We hope to see many students and families walking or rolling to school that morning!
A quick reminder: our next three-hour early release will be on Wednesday, October 15. The early release forms Terra Centre families completed in September will be used for all upcoming early release Wednesdays.

Crunch Into Virginia Farm to School Week With Us
Virginia Farm to School Week is October 6-10, and FCPS Food and Nutrition Services is excited to celebrate with your school!
During the week, the Crunch Heard ’Round the Commonwealth will take place on Thursday, October 9. On that day, Virginians across the Commonwealth will make noise for Virginia farm to school programs by biting into a fresh, Virginia-grown apple.
Your school will receive delicious Virginia-grown apples (Pink Lady, Granny Smith, or Fuji) for students to enjoy on October 9. Share your crunch photos with @fcps_foodandnutritionservices and @VDOESCNP or with the tags #VACrunch # VAFarmtoSchool.
