Community Meeting Recap
Thank you to the families and students who were able to attend the community meeting about the Falls Church High School renovations. The meeting and presentation focused on the renovation work that has been done to-date and the upcoming renovations to the school athletic fields complex.
Key updates from the meeting included:
- Review of current renovations, such as building improvements that enhance space for students and provide more natural light.
- Description of the project scope for the athletic fields complex, including infrastructure updates to the stadium, a rotated softball field, new tennis courts, and additional parking.
- Discussion with students and families about the athletic fields complex renovations, including FCPS’ efforts to support the school, athletes, boosters, and families in still having a spring athletics season.
During the meeting, students and families were encouraged to provide feedback through the online feedback form on the project’s homepage. This form will remain open for two weeks (October 6 to October 20, 2025). Additional details about the project, including renderings of the new athletic fields are available on the project’s webpage on the FCHS website.
FCPS is committed to supporting student athletes, families, and FCHS in managing the impacts this next phase of the project will have on the school community. New developments in the project, including team schedules and locations, will be shared with students and families as soon as possible.
