Dear Bonnie Brae Community,
We’re looking forward to seeing you at this evening’s community meeting from 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Bonnie Brae Elementary School (please enter through Door 2).
Come learn about the latest updates on our school renovations and share your questions and thoughts. Language interpretation will be provided.The renovation with additions at Bonnie Brae Elementary School provide:new classrooms — including two new art classrooms, kiln room, and art storage, new instrumental music classroom and instrumental storage, new platform learning space with optional closing wall — and an expanded and renovated gym, new kitchen, renovated cafeteria, new School-Aged Child Care spaces, more teacher workrooms, new restrooms, and new administration offices (with secure vestibule coming).
More sustainable building features include LED interior and exterior lighting; two new boilers; new electrical, gas, and water services; and a new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system with an energy management system.
