Short answer: You can’t.
At least not with the old Equation Curve add-in — Fusion quietly pulled it from the App Store.

So I got curious (and a little stubborn) and decided to figure it out.
Wrote a Fusion script (with a little help from AI) that lets you create an Archimedes spiral from actual math — not freehand.

And I’ll be honest...

I haven’t done a Fusion script in forever.
Maybe years?

But this was a fun excuse to dust things off, explore a bit, and stretch a muscle I haven’t used in a while.
And if you’ve never done a script before — this is a great first one.

What you can do...

  • A working script to create spirals (that you can tweak + reuse)
  • A short video showing how to run it
  • Zero fluff, just a chance to learn and try something new

One quick disclaimer:

Use the script at your own risk.
It’s free, but I don’t take responsibility if your Fusion file explodes. (Mine didn’t! But ya never know.)
