Smart Home
Gemini for Home, the upgrade from Google Assistant, has begun rolling out to early adopters in select countries, including Canada, the US, UK, Australia, Ireland and New Zealand. The update allows more complex and conversational queries, providing detailed responses from Google Home devices. Early users have demonstrated features such as Ask Home, which uses natural language to summarize video events, but have also reported bugs.

Apple is expected to change its iPhone release cycle with the iPhone 18 series, according to supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo and other sources. The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Fold are expected to debut in September 2026, while the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e are expected to follow in March 2027.

Stitch Fix has introduced Stitch Fix Vision, a generative AI-powered style visualization tool that allows customers to see personalized images of themselves in recommended outfits and various settings. The tool -- part of the company's effort to deliver ultrapersonalization at scale -- uses customer data, stylist expertise and advanced AI algorithms to curate outfits and generate interactive, shoppable images. Customers can purchase items directly or add them to their next "fix" shipment as well as save and share their looks on social media.
