Wow! It has only been a week since we started our Read-A-Thon fundraiser, and we’ve already raised over $7,000. We are so proud of the students, and we sincerely appreciate your help in making this fundraiser a success!

Students have been doing an amazing job reading and logging their minutes on their Read-A-Thon account. We want to celebrate your child’s success on Thursday, October 30th by having our very first Trunk-or-Treat! It will be a family-friendly event where students have the opportunity to go from trunk to trunk collecting all sorts of treats & goodies. Don’t miss out on this fun-filled evening, and don’t forget to invite your friends & families!

On October 24th, we will have another “Coffee with the Principals”. This session will take place at 9:30am, and it will be about understanding your child’s progress. The principals hope you will be able to join them that day!
Colin Powell STEM is inviting students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades to join the Math Olympiad program. This is a fantastic opportunity for students passionate about mathematics!

Program Logistics
Test Schedule
- The Olympiad involves five testsin total.
- Tests will be conducted at schoolonce a month. (4:30 PM -5:00 PM) Mostly on Mondays.
- The testing period runs from November through March.
Registration Fee
- The fee is flexible and will depend on the final enrollment count.
- The final cost will range between $20 – $30.
Preparation

Sample questionswill be shared with registered students after the registration process is complete to help them prepare for the tests.
Important Policy
Cancellation Policy
To ensure fairness and manage logistics, please only register if your child's schedule allows them to attend the after-school tests once a month. Canceling after registration prevents another interested student from participating in the limited-space program.
- We now have 225 members who joined the PTA. We are almost at our goal of 300. Thank you so much for your continued support!
