Well, dear readers, we’re nearing the end of another fabricated Amazon shopping holiday — which of course brought with it an onslaught of so-called discounts from nearly every other major online retailer. Over the past two days, our experts have vetted nearly 83,000 deals from across the internet, and a meager 1% of them met our standards for being actually worthwhile markdowns. And some of your absolute favorites? They weren’t from Amazon at all:
- A bra that borders on the miraculous: Writer Rose Maura Lorre thought she was “too chesty to wear a bralette.” This smooth, stretchy, wireless (!) bra proved her wrong.
- The best baking sheets: These sturdy baking sheets last for years — and reliably bake cookies to an even golden brown.
- A curvy, eye-catching sofa: Several of our testers admired the buttery-soft yet sturdy fabric of this customizable sofa that requires little to no assembly.
- Our favorite vibrator: Reliable, quiet, and a classic for a reason. No toy matches the power and intensity of the widely beloved Magic Wand.
- Luxe sateen sheets: Some testers couldn’t tell the difference between these silky, soft sheets and a $1,000-plus luxury Italian set.

One last (popular) thing: Why do you all love this headlamp beanie so, so much? |

We agree this beanie with a built-in headlamp is great — there’s a reason it’s one of our all-time favorite gifts. But what is it about this hat that seems to have a vice-like grip on readers? Perhaps its popularity lies in its utility: The soft, warm hat with its rechargeable, bright light is great for late-night dog walks or getting the mail. Or maybe because it’s just the perfect amount of silly to be a can’t-go-wrong gift? Much to consider. Please explain.
