If I told you we had three dogs already, you would say we didn’t need one more dog. I would wholeheartedly agree with you.

I was a single parent raising five children, four boys and one girl. I didn’t need one more being to feed. We certainly did not need another dog. When my oldest son came to me about giving his brother a puppy for Christmas, I was not only against the idea, I was adamant that we were not taking in another dog. My son tried to persuade me by naming the puppy Tanka after his brother’s baseball nickname, Tank. The added “a” was to indicate that the puppy was a girl. (Keep reading)
