“Pregnancy is stunningly under-studied,” Bill Gates recently said while discussing news that his foundation will commit more money than ever to women’s health.
The $2.5 billion Gates Foundation investment, announced in August, will flow toward R&D for potential first-in-class preeclampsia therapies, HIV treatments, menstrual health tools and more.
