- Monday, October 20 | Diwali - No School
- Friday, October 24 | Rock N Run at SLES, all day
- Sunday, October 26 | PTA Trunk or Treat, 4:30 pm
- Thursday, October 31| End of First Quarter, Two (2) Hour Early Release, dismissal at 1:55 pm
- The Family Resource Room will be closed on the following days below until noon October 22, 23, 27, 28, and 29

Rock N Run 2025 Online Donations are now open!
Head over to https://slpta.org/rnr and find your child’s class donation page to help them achieve their grade level prizes! Then watch the school donation totals add up to earn more school wide prizes! Every dolphin earns a prize in the SLES Rock N Run!
Rock N Run Donations go towards SLES community support and enrichment in many ways that you may not be aware of.
● SLES community events and enrichment opportunities throughout the school year such as Movie Night, Trunk or Treat, Young Artists Night and the Spelling Bee.
● Celebrating our teachers and staff throughout the year with staff appreciation activities.
● Continuing to support Care and Share students and families.
● The super helpful SLES Student Directory.
● Support for teachers + staff classroom setup and supplies

Race Day is Friday, October 24, 2025
Race Day schedule is as follows:
9:45-10:15 AM. - Kindergarten, 1st grade, Pre-K (AM/Full Day)
10:30-11:00 AM - 6th Grade
11:15-11:45 AM - 5th Grade
12:00-12:30 PM - 3rd Grade
12:45-1:15 PM - 2nd Grade, Pre-K (PM)
1:30-2:00 PM - 4th Grade
We need your help! Rock N Run is planned, coordinated and run by parent volunteers like you! Volunteering on Rock N Run day is an amazing experience…seeing all the laughs, smiles and encouragement…it’s something you will never forget.
