Some 155 episodes later, the three podcasters summarize their views in a new book: Life After Cars: Freeing Ourselves From the Tyranny of the Automobile. Life After Cars is one of several new books that lay bare the cost of car culture, and that seek to show how society can improve by moving away from auto-centric urban planning. In a conversation with contributor David Zipper, two of the authors — Goodyear and Gordon — reflect on the evolution of the movement, and what its future might look like.
