Auto Tech Students Build Skills for the Road Ahead

Students in our Auto Tech program gain real-world experience every day in the shop, working on both Student Auto Sales (SAS) vehicles and client services vehicles from the community. From oil changes and brake replacements to tire alignments and more, students put their technical training into action on a range of automotive repairs. Through the SAS program, vehicles are donated, repaired, and restored by students, then sold with proceeds being reinvested into Chantilly Academy's Auto Tech program. These funds help maintain tools, equipment, and resources that keep our students training in the most authentic environment possible.

Whether they’re preparing for a future career as an auto mechanic or simply want to understand the basics of vehicle maintenance, every student gains invaluable life skills that foster confidence, responsibility, and independence both in and out of the classroom.
