Bill 106 — which seeks to tie family doctors’ pay to the number and vulnerability of patients they see and procedures they perform — is a prescription based on a misdiagnosis.
It treats the complex, human-centred art of modern medicine as if it were a factory assembly line, and in doing so, it will drive the very physicians we need out of the system, ultimately harming the patients it claims to help.
