Time spent with Allison—we first got to know way back when with Mueller, She Wrote, and she’s still going strong with The Breakdown—is always therapeutic. She’s smart. She’s no-nonsense. And she has a decided habit of being right. Like when she told us during Trump’s first presidency that no one was coming to save us; that it was up to us. Or the advice she gives these days to people who are overwhelmed and trying to figure out where they can help. She tells them to envision a hoarder’s house, pick out one corner, and start cleaning there without worrying about the rest of the mess. I always feel better after talking with her!
