Spotify has updated its Apple TV app to include features from its mobile app, such as queue management, lyrics display and remote control via Connect. The update also introduces podcast and music videos, with Premium subscribers in 97 beta markets able to switch to video on songs with music videos, and the update is expected to be available to all users by mid-November.

The US and China have finalized the terms of a TikTok deal, says Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and the agreement is set to be signed by President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday. The deal will see TikTok's US operations, including its algorithm and content moderation, come under a new board of directors, with Oracle overseeing security. Investors, besides Oracle, in the new US-based TikTok reportedly include Fox Corp., Silver Lake Management and Andreessen Horowitz.
