Storybook Character Day!
 Laurel Ridge is excited to celebrate Storybook Character Day on Friday, October 31. All students from Pre-K through Grade 6 are invited to dress up as a favorite storybook character.
In order to assure fun for all, we ask that you join in helping ensure that all students are thoughtful about the clothing and costumes that they are wearing to class. Please talk with your student to make sure that the clothing or costume that they have selected does not portray a stereotyped image of a culture or group of people. In addition, please help students to make sure that their clothing or costume is not offensive to any racial, ethnic or religious group, any people with disabilities or illnesses, or any other group of people. Student costumes may not include any weapons or costume masks.
2 Hour Early Release - Friday 10/31
and Student Holidays 11/3 and 11/4
Students will be dismissed two hours early, at 1:55 PM, on Friday, October 31 for the end of the quarter.
Additionally, there are student holidays on Monday, 11/3 and Tuesday, 11/4.
