AOPA, King Schools offer help after AceCFI closure
AceCFI, a provider of online Flight Instructor Refresher Courses, abruptly vanished earlier this month, leaving many flight instructors in the middle of their renewal process. AOPA is offering its eFIRC course for free to members who were enrolled with AceCFI at the time of the closure, while King Schools is offering a discounted rate for displaced students.

Museum at N.C. airport unveils new exhibit
The Dare County Regional Airport Museum in Manteo, N.C., has unveiled a temporary exhibit dedicated to aeronautical engineer Francis Rogallo, who designed the Rogallo wing, which led to the development of modern paragliders and hang gliders. The exhibit, featuring photos and artifacts from Rogallo's family and Kitty Hawk Kites, will run until December, after which parts will become a permanent display.

The Hiroshima City Fire Services Bureau in Japan has received its first Airbus Helicopters H160, marking the first firefighting configuration of the medium-twin helicopter. The aircraft is expected to enter service in 2026.
