This is Eli Rosenberg with NBC10 Boston. Me and photojournalist Steve Shannon will be heading to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, but, it turns out, the story is in the journey too!
The Olympics are just 100 days away — they will officially kick off with the Opening Ceremony on Feb. 6 — and from there it’s two weeks of unforgettable competition in the Italian Alps.
Though the Olympics are in Milan and Cortina, don't be surprised if you see a bunch of Red Sox hats and Patriots jerseys in Italy! There is a REAL New England feel to these upcoming Winter games, as dozens of Olympic hopefuls from our area are gearing up for the biggest weeks-long event of their careers. |
