Hi Wentyl, Exam season is well underway, with Victorian and Queensland year 12s sitting their first papers this week. Victorian exams are so far largely scandal-free, which makes a nice change from last year’s cheat sheet fiasco which saw administrators accidentally give students actual exam questions ahead of time.
But boy oh boy, I wish I could say the same about Queensland, where another appalling error has hit students in what you could say is a case of ancient history repeating ...
This is hard to believe, but a total of 140 students across nine schools were taught the wrong topic for an entire year.
They spent countless hours learning about Roman emperor Caesar Augustus, the subject of last year's exam – but this year's exam is on Julius Caesar. |
