Maybe it’s the Virgo in me, but nothing is more satisfying to me than having everything in order. Traveling is no exception – not in an hour-by-hour itinerary way, but in an “I know what I’m doing, and I’m totally prepared” sort of way.
There’s zero chance I’m showing up to a vacation without maximizing my full traveler potential. I’m finding deals on quality hotels, packing my bag neatly (leaving room for souvenirs, of course) and game-planning how I’m going to survive my red-eye. If you’re reading this, you likely identify. But being a gold-star traveler doesn’t come naturally, and there are so many more ways I can level up my trips. For example, my fellow editor Melissa Yeager taught me to save free beauty samples to go in my carry-on. Genius!
