Kristen Stewart has been kicking and screaming for 8 years to get her new film made. In a wide-ranging interview with our writer David Marchese, she outlines the “capitalist hell” of the entertainment industry that creates barriers for anything that isn’t a proven equation to becoming the next blockbuster. Despite the challenges of directing her first full-length film, “The Chronology of Water” is in select theaters now. It’s a provocative movie that she describes as emulating a pleasantly frustrating, longer experience of a success story, which is potentially also related to climax.
