Dranesville's 15 Days of Spirit
This week is Inclusive Schools Week. The spirit days this week spotlight the individuality, strengths, and value of every student at Dranesville. 12/8 Be You Day- Wear Your Favorite Outfit, 12/9 Kaleidoscope Day- Wear Different Colors, 12/10 Workout Day- Wear Your Workout Gear, 12/11 Tie Dye Day- Wear Tie Dye Clothes or Accessories, 12/12 Dranesville Spirit Day- Wear Blue or Dranesville Spirit Wear.
We are excited and grateful to see our students and staff showing their school spirit throughout Dranesville's 15 Days of Spirit. This week's spirit days are part of our celebration of Inclusive Schools Week, December 8-12.
While we look forward to the spirit days this week, each of our days is guided by a commitment to being an inclusive school community where every child is welcomed, valued, and realizes their full potential.

Dranesville's Attendance is 67 Days Strong
 We want to extend a sincere thank you to every family for prioritizing and maintaining strong routines at home. Your efforts directly support your child’s consistent daily attendance, which is vital for their success.
Even as we fill these final weeks before winter break with extra joy, our dedicated teachers are maintaining critical daily instruction and routines. This ensures all students continue to engage in grade-level content and progress steadily toward their end-of-year growth goals and benchmarks.
Our winter break runs from Monday, December 22nd through Friday, January 2nd. Classes will resume on Monday, January 5th. We look forward to welcoming all students back, ready for the 17 days of instruction and assessment remaining in the second quarter!
