Yard Waste Collection Announcement

Yard waste collection will pause during the winter season. From December 25 through the end of February, yard waste must be bagged and placed in your trash cart. Yard waste bags will not be collected outside of the county trash cart during the winter months. Brush and tree limbs will still be collected through special pickup service.
Natural holiday trees will be collected from January 5 through 16, 2026. The trees are placed in a wood chipper with other brush. Residents can pick up this clean good quality mulch for free at the I-66 and I-95 Recycling and Disposal Centers.
