It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Margaret Sames, professionally known as Margaret Jane Wray, a beloved wife, mother, and celebrated opera singer. She passed away Tuesday, December 2nd, surrounded by family. Born December 17th, 1962, in San Antonio, Texas, Margaret grew up in St. Charles, Illinois, where she graduated from St. Charles High School (now St. Charles East High School) with the Class of 1981. She later attended North Texas State University (now University of North Texas) and began her professional career at the Houston Grand Opera

Patricia Ann Vance (née Campana), age 76, of Palatine, Illinois, beloved mother, cherished
grandmother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 27,
2025. She was born on March 5, 1949, the daughter of Tony and Genevieve Campana of Mount
Prospect, IL. She graduated from Sacred Heart of Mary High School in Rolling Meadows and
went on to many careers that all stemmed around caring and providing for others: loving
homemaker, dedicated school cafeteria assistant, food service director and doting nanny to her
grandchildren

Born in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania, to Austrian immigrant parents, she grew up in a close family. As an adult, she lived and worked in New York and then Chicago, where she met her husband, Frank Schoenberg. Stephanie devoted her life to raising her three children in Mt. Prospect, where she volunteered in many youth-oriented organizations and lived there for 50 years

James Lee "Jim" Skog
Jim was a Korean War Veteran. He completed Air Force Pilot school training from 1957 through 1959 in TX and AZ. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1960 with a B.S. in Engineering. From 1960 through 1966, he was employed by Johnson Controls as a Sales Engineer in Chicago and Honeywell as a Tech Rep in Montreal, Brussels and Minneapolis.
