Dear Belle View Families,
Happy Friday!
It has been a busy and exciting week at the View! We began the week with MAP and i-Ready assessments and will conclude tomorrow with a “WIDA Best” celebration honoring our multilingual learners as they prepare to begin the WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design Assessment). This assessment measures students’ progress in four language domains: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Each student has set a personal goal and focused on strengthening a specific area, to continue their growth and, for some, working toward exiting the ESOL program. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication and look forward to seeing the progress they are ready to demonstrate.
As a reminder, Monday is a school holiday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his enduring contributions to advancing equal rights.
