Principal’s Message to Families

Dear Ravensworth Family,

This week was highlighted by the outstanding performances of our band and strings students during their winter concerts. Thank you to Mr. Wentz and Dr. Kohut, our strings and band teachers, for teaching our students not only how to read music but also how to perform, work together, and appreciate each other’s contribution. Thank you to Ms. Blend for giving up her evening to support the strings concert on the piano as well as crowd control. On Thursday evening, Ms. Heiman led a virtual meeting regarding Exact Path Math programming. Thank you to Ms. Heiman for your leadership and for our many parents who attended this event.

As we navigate these colder months, we want to thank you for continuing to make consistent school attendance a top priority. Missing even a day or two of instruction can create gaps in understanding that are difficult to close. We truly appreciate your efforts to ensure your children arrive on time and ready to engage.

We look forward to seeing all our families at our PTA Fun Friday event next Friday, January 23rd. We will be celebrating our partnerships with our families through our Family Traditions Night.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Shannon Mueck

Ravensworth Principal

Patrol of the Month

Congratulations to our January Patrol of the Month, 5th grader, Ethan Dick. He is always on time and stays every day until his duties are complete. Ethan is always willing to pitch in and help whenever needed. It is clear he takes pride in being a patrol. Excellent work, Ethan!
